Beijing- Zhangjiakou Intercity High Speed Rail is a national key project for the 2022 Winter Olympics. There are a total of 9 stations along the line, from Beijing North Station to Zhangjiakou South Station. Among them, Zhangjiakou South Station has a total area of 19,000m2, using two large CO2 air source heat pump units with a single unit heating capacity of 1,000kW. It is the largest CO2 heating project in China and even the world. The minimum ambient temperature for local operation reaches -18℃, the temperature of the usage area is 22℃, the water supply temperature is 60℃, the return water temperature is 50℃, and the COP of the heating system is as high as 3.1. CO2 as an environmentally friendly working medium, serves the Olympic Games and is the best choice. It also provides a warm spring like station space for winter skiing enthusiasts to travel.
